Now this is bright and cheery — just like this set! Welcome to this first-Monday edition of the Stamp Review Crew’s twice-monthly blog hop, this time featuring Sunshine Sayings. It’s not easy creating with a set that’s mostly words, but I know the Crew is up to it! In fact, you were probably impressed with the project Bruno Bertucci created — and don’t forget that you can see a list of all the participating blogs if you click on the banner, above.
So, what to do, what to do. Well, I stamped and cut out a couple dozen flowers from this set. Then I punched small circles from Whisper White and, after adhering them, covered them with one (maybe two) coatings from the Fine Tip Glue Pen. Wish this shine showed up! First, this card:
My ultimate goal with all the flowers was a framed piece for our main bathroom, which is decorated in grays and yellows. Using So Saffron, Daffodil Delight, Crushed Curry, and Delightful Dijon flowers, I agonized over the spacing until I came up with this ombré sunshine (sorry about the wonky angle):
The 8″ x 8″ background on this is Smoky Slate. It belongs behind glass, but this frame is not a shadow box, so that is on my shopping list.
And on you go to enjoy more sunshine with Tanya at Tinkerin’ in Ink! Enjoy!
