My stamping partner Elizabeth Hamilton designed this dramatic card for last month’s Inkspiration Saturday. I think it’s perfect for an any-occasion guy card. There’s no stamping on it, only die cutting.
The positive die cuts of the Artichoke and Pear boughs were used on this card. I could put these little stems on pretty much every winter card, so it helps to know that a piece of wax paper between cardstock and die makes the removal of the detailed die cut almost effortless. Another suggestion for these: begin poking the die from the base of the die cut (the stem end). Very quickly you’ll see the cardstock pull away from the die. Then use your poking tool to slide it under the “spine” of the bough. It should peel away easily.
