I could hardly wait to get my hands on the new Stitched Shapes Framelits; luckily I didn’t have to wait long to play with them on some projects that needed to be completed.
This picture of one of these projects shows how Stitched Shapes work — they both cut and pierce. As far as I have tested, the 12 shapes in the set (4 each circle, square and oval) are the same size as the ones you’ll find in the “layering” sets, so the matting works perfectly.
This is one of my favorite patterns from the Warmth & Cheer paper stack. I never get tired of stars, especially in these colors. I’m sure I’m not the first one to say that the picture on page 13 of the Stampin’ Up! 2016 Holiday Catalog doesn’t do this Designer Series Paper justice. All those plaids are fabulous and will last you through the winter season.
You won’t find the two gold “brads” in the supply list — I colored retired Candy Dots with a metallic Sharpie!
