I know, that sounds sort of extreme, but I think there is something special about a beautiful, handmade card delivered in a beautiful envelope. The recipient (even the Post Office!) just knows there’s something wonderful inside!
You know I encourage you to embellish your envelopes (with coordinating stamps or an embossed flap), but don’t forget about making your own envelope with Designer Series Paper. There are three good reasons for acting on this idea immediately:
- Select Designer Series Paper is on sale this month and
- The In-Color Envelope Paper packs (2015-2017 and 2016-2018) are on sale October 1-5 and
- The Envelope Punch Board is on sale October 1-5!
What, you don’t have any adhesive? Purchase Fast Fuse and get a free refill — a timely offer for me as I broke my Fast Fuse dispenser/case.
If there’s a question that is asked of me pretty regularly, it’s “How do I use the Envelope Punch Board?” I am happy to demonstrate, but the most important tip to remember is that you only use the ruler to measure and score the first side. The other three sides are scored by aligning the pointer/guide with the previous score line.
