I’m not #1 in very many things, but I am today — unless you’re arriving from addINKtive designs! It’s another edition of the Stamp Review Crew’s twice-monthly blog hop, this time highlighting I Think You’re Great on page 130 of the Annual Catalog. (You’ll find buttons at the end of the post to go forward or backward through the blog hop — or just click the hop banner above to see a list of the participants.)
This set was one that demonstrators could order about a month before the catalog was released, so naturally I pounced on it. And I can’t say it has seen much action since then! These images are designed to facilitate the kissing technique (or kiss-off or kiss-and-twist), but I like them by themselves, too.
This is my thank you note card for online orders in January. Thanks to the Stamp-a-ma-jig, I was able to stamp the image twice and have it aligned perfectly. (Stampers, I’m planning to revisit the SAMJ in camp this month or next!) I love blue and brown together, and here I chose Bermuda Bay and Early Espresso for extra POW! This is a simple card perfect for making multiples, especially when you start with the pre-cut and -scored Whisper White Note Cards & Envelopes.
Although I’ve made several sweet and sugary valentines, I didn’t have one for my husband until I made this note card. It is sort of in keeping with my usual black-and-red theme for Valentine’s Day for him. Here I used the same image embossed in silver, then punched it out and layered some hearts atop. A rhinestone and silver ribbon add more sparkle.
Wonder what else is possible with this set? Jump, skip, or hop over to RunningwScissorsStamper to find out! Bye for now!
