I’ll admit I am not really a fan of Cucumber Crush, but I’ll also admit that a dash of it makes a very festive Christmas card! Notice how much white I used on this card, however, to keep its enthusiastic impulses somewhat subdued; I think Cucumber Crush is a bit like a cucumber vine in a garden — something of a bully!
This set, Your Presents, was designed for kissing — in fact, if you look on page 32 of the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog, there’s a little how-to smack in the middle of the page. (I don’t know how I could overlook that red circle, but I did!) If you’re a visual learner, you might benefit by watching this older Stampin’ Up! corporate video, below. When I reviewed it, I realized that at the Jingle Jump last weekend, I was actually kissing backwards; I need to remake this card using the method in the video to see if it makes a difference in the way the striped gift is stamped. And just one more thing: the smaller present stamp in the set and the solid circle or square stamps are ideal for a double-kiss in order to get a plaid effect. Try it!
