Crazy about stamping, crazy about blog hops — Crazy about You! And, I’m happy you’ve arrived at Heartfelt Inkspiration for this latest Stamp Review Crew hop. Did you see Holly’s projects already at Rubber Redneck? Excellent!
This is a go-to set for all types of sentiments (there are **30** single-word or phrase stamps!). However, I chose to use the pointy flower image for the f0cus of my two cards. In both cases, I used the kissing technique with one of the stamps from I Think You’re Great, inking the patterned stamp, pressing the un-inked flower stamp against it, then stamping on the card stock. This gives lots of pattern for sunflower look, accompanied by a sentiment from the host-only set Best Thoughts.
I began with the same flower for my second card, but added some layers. First I reversed the kissing technique (inking up the flower and pressing it against the un-inked pattern stamp) and cut out a small flower. Then I topped it with a scalloped circle punched out of the card above and a matching vellum one. And the pearl? Colored with a metallic Sharpie. The actual card is simply stamped with the leaves image, then slipped into a Mini Treat Bag envelope made from Stampin’ Up!’s Glassine Sheets. I love this translucence.
Thanks for checking out my creations! Now head over to The Stamping Blok and see what Rochelle has for you!
