Stamp Review Crew: Dotty Angles

SRC-Dotty-Angles-bannerFeeling dotty today?  Then you’re in the right place!  There aren’t many of us on this Stamp Review Crew hop today for Dotty Angles, but I’m sure you’ll find lots of inspiration!  (BTW, if I’m ever asked to join our local roller derby team, the Barbed Wire Betties, Dotty Angles will be my name.  Look for me.)  It could be that I’m the last one on your hop, in which case you arrived from Holly’s Rubber Redneck blog.  Delightful, don’t you think?

I have just one CAS (clean and simple) card today, one that’s been haunting me ever since I got this stamp set.  I was intent on creating an ombré effect on a single stamp, and with the addition of Mint Macaron to the Stampin’ Up! color lineup, I finally tried it.  I’m happy to report that I got it right the first time, I think!  After dabbing on the color, I misted the stamp with a bit of water, which made the ink bead up a bit on the stamp.  This card is in the mail to a stampin’ friend who is making tremendous progress recovering from a stroke.

Debra Burgin Ombre Angles

That’s it for me, so if you aren’t finished yet, you’ll be hopping to the beginning of the lineup, visiting Rochelle at The Stamping Blok.  See you next time!
