After a busy prep week getting ready for the All-Occasions Stamp-a-Stack last weekend, yesterday was quiet and lazy to the extreme! After worship, we had a (second) breakfast with a friend, then came home and napped in front of the fire.
The fact that we really needed a fire to take the chill out of the room shows you how un-springlike it is in north central Illinois right now. I’m pretty well tired of it, and late in the afternoon we went looking, in vain, for any inspiration for welcoming our guests next week. Of course, I could have started my own containers of tulips last fall that would be blooming just in time, but I didn’t.
This is the simple invitation I sent out for our Easter brunch. I know I could have called, or texted, or emailed. But in this house, it’s still a thrill when we get personal mail amongst the solicitations. Perhaps the rest of the family is the same way.
Two last items of business today:
- If you’re local, I have a stamper who has an extra Note Tag Punch to sell. Let me know if you’re interested.
- Tomorrow is the last day to take advantage of the FREE Sale-A-Bration items! There are so many SAB products I will be sorry to put away, but it’s time to move on. Don’t miss your favorites!
