New year, new hop! Welcome to The Stamp Review Crew’s blog hop featuring Perfect Pennants. Did you come from Lisa’s Add Ink and Stamp? Love her card using the bokeh technique!
Today I have two cards stamped with the image I’ve used often. The first I sent to my sister for her birthday this week — I hope I’m not spoiling the surprise! On this note card, I kept the pennant simple so as not to compete with the sparkly Smooches background.
I took a sharp turn with the same stamp on this next card. I’ve always been intrigued by images with wings. (Do you remember the heart-with-wings stamp from several years ago? Friends joked that I’d get a tattoo like that.) So this is my playful interpretation — another birthday card that is in the recipient’s hands already, I’m sure.
My husband was surprised when I presented him with this berry basket full of homemade cookies. “Aren’t these my cookies from the jar in the cupboard?” You’d think after all these stampin’ years he’d get used to household items (even food) being used as props. Apparently still edible …
I’ll have further posts on these projects later this week. Meanwhile, you’re in for a treat at your next stop, Heidi’s Running w Scissors Stamper blog. Hearts galore and more bokeh — enjoy!
