Hey, stampers! It’s the first Monday in the month and time for another Stamp Review Crew log hop! Did you have fun at My little craft blog? I love Beth’s work!
True confession: the only reason I own Kinda Eclectic is because we got it free (ahem!) at a Stampin’ Up! event. I’ve tried, but I don’t reach for this set too often. The pieces don’t work together because, you know, they’re kinda eclectic. But I love the leaves, so I’m starting today with a project I made a few months ago and rejected as a candidate for a camp. (I don’t think I’ve shown it here before, so I guess I’m legal.) This Eclectic Trio is one of my standard sympathy cards — subdued, but not depressing.
When I can’t fall asleep, it’s likely due to (1) a recent, lively gathering that I can’t let rest (like a camp that evening) or (2) ideas for stamping that I am trying to resist getting up to try. Last week I had both circumstances on the same night and — amazingly — remembered the concept when I went down to the studio the next morning to work. Here’s my Eclectic Wreath:
This Eclectic Hey will be the perfect card for our grandson when he makes Dean’s List this semester. He’s got a few weeks, sure, but we have every confidence in him! I think this card captures his personality — lively and fun — perfectly.
Now move along smartly (there’s a lot to see!) to Dawn’s wonderful work at Tiddbits from Dawn. Remember that you can click the banner at the top of hop posts to get to a list of all blogs posting today, We’ll be around whenever you’re ready to hop!
