Welcome to another Stamp Review Crew blog hop! I’m honored to be stop #1 on the hop — although it was a random selection, LOL! If you’re not starting here, perhaps you came from Wendy Weixler’s blog, Wickedly Wonderful Creations, with that fabulous blog header (not to mention her terrific projects with this set).
I actually knew a woman named Eleanor. She died at 101 late last fall. When she was 90, she enrolled in one of my college-level computer classes. I know. Wow. This hop is for you, Ellie!
My first project is for someone just ready to enroll in the same college — but she’s just 18. Her mother actually inspired this graduation card, but of course mine looks nothing like hers! I thought I’d use some of the new In Colors on this one, and I just love the look. The inside says, “Now go change the world!”
I’m revisiting an April camp technique on my other card here: Painted Chalk. If you try markering over the Stampin’ Up! Chalk Marker, know that the colors will fade quite a bit and will need to be touched up. The flowers here were markered in So Saffron and accented with Crushed Curry.
OK, then, off you go to Stress-Free Stamping with Shana!
