When I first saw the Fringe Scissors in the Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalog, I thought of grass on an Easter card — not an original thought by any means! (I’m sorry to report that so many of us are making grass that the Fringe Scissors are backordered until April 30.) I took the concept in a different direction by creating a tag, mostly because I am hooked on this Scalloped Tag Topper Punch. It’s not obvious in the photo, but the lower panel uses the printed window sheet from the Quatrefancy Specialty Designer Series Paper. There’s a lot of pattern going on here, but I think all the white makes it work.

I like everything about this card. Pastel but not too pastel, lots of prints, a quiet ribbon detail and most of all, the texture from not one but two embossing folders plus the fringe scissors,. Amazing!
