Grateful spotlight

Debra Burgin Grateful SpotlightHere’s the first of my four cards from Spring Super Saturday.  There are three techniques in play here:

  1. Spotlight (where a portion of an image is colored and placed against the corresponding image that is uncolored).  See another example here and here.
  2. Faux Diamond Dust (where the card stock is covered in VersaMark and embossed in Iridescent Ice embossing powder).  It’s difficult to capture this effect, but you can see another example here.
  3. Double Embossing (where a panel is dry embossed and the embossed areas are brayered in VersaMark and heat embossed).  Again, it’s hard for me to photograph sparkle, but here is a card we did with this technique.

You may say it’s a stretch, but this card was designed using Freshly Made Sketches #23!
