Stamp Review Crew: Fabulous Florets

SRC-Fabulous-Florets-bannerGreetings, stampers!  I’m so happy to be part of this week’s Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop using Fabulous Florets.  We’ve used this set quite a bit in camps, but not for some time, so it was good to get it out again — if only for this one project!

Did you arrive from Tanya’s blog, Tinkerin In Ink?  If not, remember that the blog hop is a loop.  If you lose your way, clicking on the top blog hop banner will get you to the complete list of hoppers.

Quite a while back I saw a card by Julie Funk that I couldn’t get out of my mind.  Simple — just masking and stamping — but fraught with potential dangers.  An inky finger, a crooked mask, someone not paying attention to where she’s stamping … just a warning!

Debra Burgin Fab Florets

Stamps:  Fabulous Florets (p. 93), Gorgeous Grunge (p. 109)

Ink/Color:  Primrose Petals, Blushing Bride, Old Olive (stamped off), Smoky Slate, Basic Gray

Paper:  Whisper White, Primrose Petals

You are sure to enjoy what Deb Currier has done with this set at her blog, ARTfelt Impressions.  Have fun!

Great job masking. And I know what you mean about potential dangers. Some of my simplest cards have to be redone several times because I smudge it or drop an open ink pad on it. 🙁

I’m going to give this a try.

  13. Rita says:

LOL I could mess this one up easily as I’m always making a mess with stray ink! Where does it come from?! I love how fresh and clean it is! You did keeping the ink just where it needs to be! 🙂
