Petal Parade Faux Silk

Debra Burgin 1402 Petal Parade Faux SilkIt’s no surprise to my stampers that Faux Silk is one of my favorite techniques.  (Is it new to you?  See my tutorial here.)   I knew I wanted to use Petal Parade, one of the free Sale-A-Bration stamp sets and as it happened, the tissue box in one of our bathrooms provided the perfect color inspiration.

I could have included this card in yesterday’s Stamp Review Crew blog hop, since I used one of the spatter stamps here.  The Gorgeous Grunge set provides the perfect little extras on many projects.

Stamps:  Petal Parade (Sale-A-Bration), So Sorry (p. 68), Gorgeous Grunge (p. 109)

Ink/Color:  Pool Party, Wild Wasabi, Smoky Slate, Basic Gray

Other:  Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet, Big Shot, Adorning Accents Embossing Folder, 1/2″ Seam Binding Ribbon (Pool Party), Word Window Punch, Stampin’ Dimensionals
