Valentine lolly

Debra Burgin 2014 PIFH #2Here’s one of the cards we’ll be making at Saturday’s 5th annual Pay-It-Forward House benefit stamp camp.  Today is the deadline, but we have space for you — just let me know right away!

I love that we hold this benefit just before Valentine’s Day; there’s never a shortage of ideas involving hearts and affection!  Even so, both my cards use this heart image from Hearts a Flutter and the matching Framelits.

I haven’t made a lolly (or rosette) for a long time, but it’s just like riding a bike!  If you’ve forgotten how, check out this post.  Now, however, I secure the lolly by putting a dab of hot glue on a Silicone Craft Sheet, then pressing the lolly in place.  That’s step 3, and you’re done!

Stamps:  Hearts a Flutter (p. 124), Itty Bitty Banners (p. 30)

Ink/Color:  Raspberry Ripple

Paper:  Strawberry Slush, Whisper White, Quatrefancy Specialty, In Color Designer Series Paper Stack (2012-2014), Glimmer Paper (Silver)

Other:  Big Shot, Banner Framelits*, Hearts a Plenty Framelits, Itty Bitty Banner Framelits, Simply Scored Scoring Tool, Silicone Craft Sheet, hot glue
