Welcome to the 2014 Sale-A-Bration Blog Hop!

2014 SAB Blog Hop BannerGreetings, stampers, and welcome to the Stampin’ Addicts Sale-A-Bration Blog Hop for 2014, celebrating the biggest party of the Stampin’ Up! year!  This SAB is full of beautiful, fun, and creative items — it’s going to be a great hop!

If you’ve arrived here from the previous stop, Rubber Stamping & Card Making with Yahpa, you’ve seen her creations using See Ya Later.  So, so cute!  (Remember, you can click on the banner above to see the entire list of bloggers who are participating in this hop.)

If it’s free I love it, and if it lasts forever, even better!  Since I’m a regular user of My Digital Studio, I just had to choose Hooray for Parties as my “set” for the hop.  (You probably know those digital images can be used in any program that allows you to insert graphics.)  Truth be told, I don’t hold a lot of parties, so my projects show the other things you can do with this digital content.

Again this fall, our granddaughter was named to the Dean’s List at the university she attends, earning High Honors.  We thought she deserved a special card, so I printed items from the Designer Templates on Whisper White card stock and punched or trimmed them.  The colors in this “designer paper” are so fresh!  You can see some of the same embellishments in the blog hop banner above, which I created.

Debra Burgin Yippe-SkippeeNaturally I had to create a scrapbook page using pieces from this ensemble.  The string of heart buttons to this page echos the design on the mug.  Please don’t be disappointed by the picture of the kit in the SAB flyer — it’s packed with goodies!  The title of this page is one of the digital stamps, but I recolored it (love that!).

Debra Burgin HoorayHooray for Parties has a “framable” that I modified for our front door.  When stampers arrive for camp, I’m usually downstairs in the studio.  By now they know to just come in, but a sign doesn’t hurt — as long as some stranger doesn’t walk in!  I also made the loop garland shown on page17, but I took this picture before I artfully draped it over the top.

Debra Burgin Framed welcomeWhat?  You’re not using My Digital Studio?  You must give it a try — in fact, there’s a no-obligation, 30-day trial just waiting for you!

Now you’re on to Kitty Stamp to enjoy Betty’s projects using the other digital freebie, One Big Sale-a-Bration CD.  Have fun!
