I showed you this card a few weeks ago during the Stamp Review Crew Hearts a Flutter blog hop. I hope you’ve tried the Spirelli technique for yourself. If not, here’s one tip that may help you. This card uses a fairly springy metallic embroidery thread. At the first camp it kept wanting to jump out of the scallop “valleys,” despite adhesive applied on the reverse side and periodic taping of the thread behind the scallop. Finally one of the stampers suggested snipping into the valley just a tiny bit. This created a snug fit for the thread and solved the problem immediately. Subsequent camps benefited from the frustration experienced earlier in the month!
