Perfectly grateful

Debra Burgin Perfectly gratefulI originally made this card for a stamper friend who has been under the weather, but I loved the finished product so much, I modified it just a bit for a swap at Leadership Conference last week.  In the second version, I stamped the flowers in Basic Gray ink and colored (and shaded) them with markers — no Blender Pen, no Aqua Painter.  You saw the same stamp and coloring in this post last week.

However, you may have heard about the new Stampin’ Up! product line that’s being introduced in the next few months:  Blendabilities.  I have very little information on these alcohol-based markers, except to say that I was impressed with the price ($11.95 for three same-color markers of varying shades) and the ease of blending.  I’m itching to get my hands on them!

Meanwhile, here’s the recipe for this card:

Stamps:  So Very Grateful*, Perfect Pennants*

Ink:  StazOn Jet Black, assorted green, pink, and purple ink for water coloring, Stampin’ Write Markers (Basic Black, Raspberry Ripple)

Paper:  Pear Pizzazz, Shimmery White, 2012-2014 Core’dinations (Primrose Petals)

Other:  Aqua Painter, Big Shot, Finishing Touches Edgelits, Banners Framelits*, Beautifully Baroque Embossing Folder, Stampin’ Sanding Block, 3/8″ Taffeta Ribbon (Pear Pizzazz), Stampin’ Dimensionals

Great card! Especially day brightening in the oft times overcast and polluted January skies we have here.
