Swingin’ Reindeer

Debra Burgin 1311 Swinging ReindeerNo, this has nothing to do with the Swingin’ Christmas station on Pandora!  Instead, our furry friend swings upside-down and inside-out when the top flap of this card is pulled up.  There’s plenty of room for the message inside in this variation of the Label Card Thinlits die — probably invented about 30 seconds after some stamper received her new product!  I love that about the stamping community; always thinking, always creating!

I should have used a juicier pad to create the subtle white snowflakes — and you know to heat Whisper White Craft ink after stamping to dry the ink and pop the color.  These use the new (and wildly popular) photopolymer set Endless Wishes.  It’s so easy to stamp around the die cut area without masking.

Stamps:  Color Me Christmas*, Endless Wishes (Photopolymer)

Ink/Color:  StazOn Jet Black, Whisper White, Soft Suede, Stampin’ Write Markers (Sahara Sand, Gumball Green, Real Red, Pirouette Pink)

Paper:  Crumb Cake, Shimmery White, Gumball Green, Season of Style Designer Series Paper*

Other:  Big Shot, Label Card Thinlits, Ovals Collection Thinlits, Rhinestone Basic Jewel, permanent marker
