DH has begun the baking of pumpkin pies for the season, and to spread the cheer, we’re inviting people over to share pie and conversation. This lets us show the house and get to know our neighbors. So far, two nights, two groups, roses, chocolates — wow! I love hearing the old stories of the neighborhood and finding connections; DH went to school with the grandmother of our (young) neighbor next door!
However, after two pieces of pie over two days, I’m wondering how long we can keep this up before I have to buy the next size up of pants. Not that anyone is making me eat the pie, of course. Hmmm.
This card is another Jingle Jump card. You may recognize the layout from the Dahlia Love card. Its sparkle (invisible here) is from my “White Diamonds” custom blend embossing powder — equal portions of white and Iridescent Ice powder. With it I get the best of both worlds: opacity and sparkle. We used the Envelope Punch Board to round the corners.
