Put-Away Day

Debra Burgin 1310 Leaf BlockToday is the day I clean up after the last monthly stamp camp.  I love to do this, partly because there’s nothing like a tidy studio to inspire me.  The plan is to finish my Jingle Jump designs and November’s camp cards — not all today, because there are errands to run, but I can get a start.

So before I put this card in the mail for a friend’s birthday, here’s the last October camp card.  It uses the Block Stamping technique, which is as simple as inking up an acrylic block and using it to stamp.  This card took it a little further, with several colors dabbed on the block.  A misting of plain water smooshes the colors together before stamping.

Stamps:  Magnificent Maple*, Sweet Essentials (p. 41)

Ink/color:  Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, VersaMark

Paper:  Baked Brown Sugar, Very Vanilla, Naturals Ivory

Other:  Clear Mount Block (D), Sponge Dauber, Heat Tool and Stampin’ Emboss Powder (Pewter), Stampin’ Dimensionals
