Sunflower window #2

Debra Burgin 1310 Sunflower WindowThis is the final version of the sunflower window card for camp this month.  The image is stamped on So Saffron instead of on Naturals Ivory, as in yesterday’s card.  I like this better because it’s so vibrant, reminding me of the way our old house used to glow inside when the sun was shining through the sugar maple in late October.  (Someone asked me yesterday if I missed the old house, and I said only the retractable clothesline.  But now that I think about it, I will miss the colors of the trees and, probably, my big perennial bed in late spring and early summer.  Oh, and the two folding chairs that seem to have disappeared.)

I could make variations of this emboss resist card all day long!  Others like it as well; as two other variations have been pinned quite a bit from this blog.  You can see them here and here.

Stamps:  Sunflower (p. 71)

Ink/Color:  VersaMark, Baked Brown Sugar, Crushed Curry, So Saffron

Paper:  Crumb Cake, So Saffron, Soft Suede

Other:  Heat Tool and Stampin’ Emboss Powder (Clear), Stampin’ Sponges, Big Shot, Honeycomb Embossing Folder, Squares Collection Framelits, Stampin’ Trimmer, 3/8″ Taffeta Ribbon (Suede), Stampin’ Dimensionals
