Falling leaves

Debra Burgin 1309 Falling leavesVery few leaves are actually falling so far in our yard, but the little scene on this card will be reality before too long!  We brought our chipper/shredder from the old house because the shredded leaves are so good for the compost.  The quantity of leaves to vac and shred here will be probably only 20% of what had last year!

2013 SeptemberThe stamp on this card is from September’s 25th anniversary set, Best of Autumn.  You may remember the set that had this image — four seasons of the same tree.  This card, based on a Create with Connie and Mary sketch from a few months ago, is simple and quick (and appropriate for a guy, I think).  We needed a quick card in camp because there were others that were a little more time consuming, but the extra on this one was a matching envelope from the Sweater Weather Designer Series Paper.  Mastering the Envelope Punch Board is a snap!

Stamps:  Best of Autumn

Ink/Color:  Early Espresso, Stampin’ Write Markers (Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango, Soft Suede)

Paper:  Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Sweater Weather Designer Series Paper*, Very Vanilla

Other:  Big Shot, Woodgrain embossing folder, 1/8″ Taffeta Ribbon (Early Espresso), 1¾” Circle Punch, Stampin’ Dimensionals
