Peter stayed with us Saturday night, so yesterday we took him to church. In the activity bag for kids was a clipboard with paper and a zippered case with colored pencils. During the sermon, he asked me to draw something, so I drew my usual star. Then he asked me to make an animal. (The last time I was drawing he asked for a walrus!) Because the children’s message talked about a lost owl, I thought I’d try that. It was adorable, complete with feathered tummy, beak, and clawed feet. With delight he exclaimed, “It’s a pig!” (Balcony dwellers, did you hear that?)
Luckily I don’t have to be an artist to stamp! I don’t even have to be all that creative, and that’s why I made a variation of the anniversary card I showed you last week. This one is for DH on our anniversary this Friday — 27 years! What would you think about this as an unconventional Valentine?
Like those rounded corners? I have the new Envelope Punch Board to thank for those!
