Leafy tree

Debra Burgin 1309 Leafy treeNever mind the color — I never can seem to get the new Stampin’ Up! blues true.  I wonder if you can figure out how we made the leaves on this card?  OK, if you were at camp yesterday, you know.  But the rest of you?

This card was inspired by a challenge card by someone on some site — I’ve just lost track of the source.  But none of it was Stampin’ Up! product.  I wanted to create a version that was all SU! (that’s what I’m about, after all).  And of course, this looks nothing like the original, which was full of sponging and had no texture or dimension.

So have you figured out the leaves?  I’ll list the recipe and see if that helps:

Stamps:  Dictionary (p. 100), Beautifully Baroque (p. 113), Take Care (p. 92), Betsy’s Blossoms (p. 87)

Ink/Color:  Crumb Cake, Chocolate Chip, Cajun Craze, VersaMark

Paper:  Bermuda Bay, Crumb Cake, Coastal Cabana, Pumpkin Pie

Other:  1¼” Burlap Ribbon*, Sticky Strip, Big Shot, Finishing Touches Edgelits, Heat Tool and Stampin’ Emboss Powder (Pewter), Stampin’ Dimensionals
