Lovely and sparkly as a tree

Debra Burgin Lovely and sparklyIn the flurry of stamping that has been going on in the studio this week, I broke away from autumn projects and put together this winter card.  The embossed tree uses a custom blend of powder — both white Stampin’ Emboss Powder and Dazzling Diamonds.  I love the effect (but I know you can’t see all the sparkle in the photo here).  On the mat I used the available-again Metallic Encore Pad (this is my original pad from years ago!).  I heat set the image to make sure I didn’t smudge it.  Finally I test drove the Stylish Stripes embossing folder, another example of a product I didn’t fall in love with in the Holiday Catalog.  But it is so pretty!
