Zoo Baby giraffe

Debra Burgin 1308 CC Baby giraffeThis is the second card the Colonial House stampers made last week.  I love all the images in Zoo Babies, and I am surprising myself by loving Crushed Curry.  I don’t remember quite the same affection last time around, and I think it’s because now it’s been placed in the Regals Collection.  I think it’s stunning there and can hardly wait to use it for autumn cards.

OK, so how do you feel about staples on cards?  These are yellow staples, found at Target during a back-to-school splurge many years ago.  I am typically weak when it comes to school supplies, but packing up this household has really opened my eyes to the excessive number of pens we have.  Some of them are older than our marriage and will not survive the move (the pens, not the marriage).

Last night we made the master list of where every piece of furniture will go in the new house.  DH said quite seriously, “We’re moving to a smaller house, you know.”  Ha ha ha!  But since we have been downsizing our belongings for over a year, I think we’ll be OK.  I’m intent on not moving anything we don’t use, don’t love, or don’t look forward to using again.  We already have a box started marked Church Garage Sale for next spring.

That’s so funny!! I love school and office supplies too!! My husband was quite shocked at the amount of envelopes and index cards I had amassed in our college home! The envelopes have all been used by now, but I think the index cards are still around. Hey, those would make awesome sponging masks for punched shapes!!
