E is for Elephant

Debra Burgin 1306 E Is for ElephantThis card is so unusual for me, but I wanted to experiment with the technique I call Embossed Waxed Paper Resist.  (I think superstamper Patty Bennett invented it.)  Can you see the pattern from the Beautifully Baroque embossing folder?  It’s imperfect, unpredictable and wonderful.  The look of batik fabric was just perfect with the elephant!

I’m afraid I wasted the Chalk Talk tag on this card — I covered the best part of it with the circles!  I’ll do better with a card this month.  More animals, hooway!
