Sweet flowers

Debra Burgin 1304 Sweet flowersBashful Blue has never been one of my go-to Stampin’ Up! colors, so it’s been surprising to me how often I’ve used it lately!  I thought I wouldn’t mind it being discontinued, but … (You have seen the news about the Color Refresh, haven’t you?)

A card by Mary Brown inspired this April camp card; the tiny blue flowers are so sweet against the embossed Brushed Silver strip.  A light sponging around the edges of the stamped panels (just scrape your sponge on the edges) makes them pop, along with a few well-placed Stampin’ Dimensionals, of course!

Stamps:  Just Believe (p. 77)

Ink/Color:  Certainly Celery*, Bashful Blue*

Paper: Whisper White, Designer Series Paper Stack (Subtles*), Brushed Silver, Bashful Blue*

Other:  Stampin’ Sponge, Big Shot, Delicate Designs Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack, Paper-Piercing Tool, 1/8″ Mini Brads, Baker’s Twine (Whisper White), Stampin’ Dimensionals

*Discontinued Stampin’ Up! colors
