This is the last of our camp cards for February. I saved it for today’s post because my final camp was scheduled for last evening. However, the winter storm blew those plans right down the highway. I think I’ve only canceled camp one other time due to the weather. It was the right decision (roads were nasty), but I missed stamping with my friends.
February camps featured the Chalkboard technique. Have you ever seen chalk art done IRL? I mean by an artist with a piece of chalk on a big chalkboard? I saw a time-lapse video months and months ago that was amazing. I’m so glad I can make a reasonable — and easy! — version with stamps, ink and paper.
I think one of secrets to getting a good Chalkboard effect is to use a stamp with a lot of embellishment. This image from Vintage Verses is perfect. And free, too!
