Have you been checking out the adorable treat bags and tags at the bottom of page 23 in the Stampin’ Up! Spring Catalog? I puzzled over the origin of those tags until I realized they are cut with one of the Hearts a Flutter Framelits. I adore that tag! And because sitting next to my Big Shot was a small scrap of Twitterpated DSP — I just had to cut it out.
But first I punched a small heart into the scrap. You remember the rule: For easiest alignment, do the small, then the big. For example:
- Pierce a scrap, then punch a small flower around it (much easier to get that tiny hole for a brad centered that way)
- Stamp first, then punch or die cut around the image
- Die cut a window in a card stock panel, then cut a bigger die around it to create a frame
I’m not sure you can see it in the photo, but only the tag is popped up. I wanted to keep this card clean, simple, and fast!
