Floral Heart

Debra Burgin 1301 Floral HeartHave you had your hands on the 1¼” Two-Tone Ribbon from the Stampin’ Up? Spring Catalog yet?  It is so silky and beautiful.  But if you’re expecting to see both tones — here, Pink Pirouette and Rose Red — you won’t.  Instead, it’s a unique, shimmery combination of the two, something sort of mauve-y.  Gorgeous, whatever you call it.

We embossed the heart with a custom blend of Cherry Cobbler and Iridescent Ice powders.  Love the color (closer to the ribbon in tone than it looks here) and love the sparkle!  Although it’s perfect for Valentine’s Day, it would make a great anniversary or wedding card as well.
