Kissed snowflake

Debra Burgin 1212 Kissed snowflakeThis December camp card reminds me of the madrigal dinners held in this area during the holidays.  It is rich with texture, has plenty of bling, and it’s purple!  The dark Elegant Eggplant panel reminds me of smocking.  It gains its richness from inking the embossing folder (the backside of the front) before running the card stock through the Big Shot.  Messy, but stunning.  The background?  The lovely Illuminate Glimmer Watermark pad.  I’ve told my stampers this month that I was less than wowed by this ink — until I tried re-inking my pad.  Now we’ve got the Wow Factor, all right!  If you’ve got the pad, get the refill; I’m happy that both items will be available after January 2!

I agree about the Madrigal inspiration. Your card inspired a page for my daughter’s Madrigal event.
