Blue Snowflakes

Debra Burgin 2012 JJ Blue SnowflakeI’ve used a lot of paper from the Festival of Prints Designer Series Paper Stack.  I love that you can cut it up for card fronts with very little waste — the card here uses a half-sheet — as the sheets are 4½” x 6½”  I’d like to see more of this type of paper assortment!

Perhaps I’ve already admitted how conflicted I was over the retirement of the big snowflake die in June.  (How much did I love it?  I can’t even remember the name!)  However, when I saw the Snow Flurry Bigz die in the Holiday Catalog, I immediately saw its versatility:  three snowflakes instead of one, three snowflake designs, and three sizes.

Here I’ve used the biggest snowflake in both Whisper White and Vellum Card Stock. and the medium snowflake in Silver Glimmer Paper.  (Having trouble finding Glimmer Paper in the big catalog?  It’s on page 160.)  You’ll need to clean off the die after cutting the Glimmer Paper.  See my tip HERE on how to do it easily!

This card is entirely flat — perfect for mailing!
