Looking back at LAAT

Debra Burgin 2006 ChristmasAt camp last Friday we made a card that will most likely be my Christmas card this year, using this beautiful evergreen from Lovely as a Tree.  I’ve never gotten tired of this image, and to prove it, I dug out this card — my Christmas card from 2006.  Do you think any of my recipients will notice the rerun of sorts?

The mat on the tree is the beautiful Brushed Gold card stock (worth every penny) and the card base is Ruby Red, a color that has been replaced in my heart by Riding Hood Red.  I stamped the tree in Artichoke Craft ink and heat embossed it with Iridescent Ice.  I remember wearing lots of glitter that season!

Before every new Stampin’ Up! catalog I am sure they will retire Lovely as a Tree, but it’s still with us.  I’m happy about that!

Absolutely love this card! I pretty much like anything using this stamp, but I love the velum and ribbon effect.
