A cold snap

Debra Burgin 1209 Blue SnowflakeYesterday Tina Moore and I worked on Super Saturday plans and projects — a very productive day!  By the time DH came home from his volunteer work and we had to head to the southern part of the county, it was so chilly and rainy that I had to snip the tags off my new all-weather coat (and take the liner out) so I’d have some protection from the elements.  It was 53°, for heaven’s sake!  The groundbreaking festivities for the new wing of the hospital were outside (since you don’t break ground inside), but luckily all of us except those with shovels or cameras were snug under a big tent, enjoying snacks and drinks.

So in celebration of the cool-ish, wet-ish weather, I thought I’d share this Christmas card that we’re making in camp this month.  I think I’ve done a blue snowflake card every year in camp — it just says “icy” to me!  And that’s the way my hands and feet felt yesterday.
