Tuesday Tip: Compare less, create more

I know I’m not the only one who suffers from analysis paralysis because I save too many ideas in my inspiration file.  Sure, I benefit from new ideas, but I tend to measure my cards against what other people create and end up feeling inadequate.  Then I don’t stamp, because what’s the point?

If this sounds like you also, let’s do less comparing of our own work to others’ and just stamp.  And to make you feel even better, how about sending someone a card this week who is totally not expecting it?  Oh, and do it for four other people, too.

Need a starting point?  Since it’s September, HERE is the sketch/color challenge for this month.  Enjoy!

I would love to frame that quote and hang it in my craft room!

I agree! The artist who created this is Lindsay Sherbondy. I found the image on a FB post from a friend in Texas — coincidentally, the artist lives only about an hour from me! You can find her blog at Lindsay Letters, but so far I haven’t found that specific piece. She also has a shop HERE.
