Today is the third wedding anniversary of DH’s son and our daughter-in-law. It seems like she’s been part of the family for a lot longer, and certainly the lives of all of us have changed dramatically since they met! I am happy that we are friends and especially happy to have The Little Toddler around. That’s him holding the heart at the top of the stack-o-birds, above.
This is a really simple card. “Cheerful” was the pronouncement from my husband. Yes, another Swedish color combo — can’t seem to get away from it. Of course, I’m surrounded by it every day, as it’s been the color of my kitchen for the past 25+ years.
I thought it would be easier to find scraps for these flags, but although I certainly have plenty of scraps (there, I’ve said it in public), I didn’t have just the right ones, and so I reverted back to my favorite Designer Series Paper Stacks. I know they’re bound to be replaced, but I can’t think about that right now.
Don’t have this set? Try Easy Events (of course), Create a Cupcake, Kidoodles, Morning Cup, Storybook Friends … you get the idea. And for the holidays? Stay tuned!
