Ghosted leaves (again)

Debra Burgin 1208 CH Ghosted Leaves“Ghosting” was the technique requested by the stampers at Colonial House this month, and I can always find leaf stamps that work for this.  I took this picture shortly after I made the card, but the color of the brayering on the Glossy White card stock changed significantly in only a day or two.  It’s quite a bit pink-ier than you see here — not bad, just not what I expected.  The lesson?  Practice!

Although there is an acorn in the Autumn Accents Bigz Die, here stampers cut it out by hand after stamping and heat embossing the image.

A few, well-placed Stampin’ Dimensionals lift portions of each leaf off the card base.  There’s no law that says an entire panel has to be lifted!
