I’m ready to move on, so I’ll “debrief” the last two cards in the hop:
Ink/Color: Old Olive, Early Espresso
Paper: Riding Hood Red, Brushed Gold, Early Espresso, Very Vanilla
Other: Big Shot, Fancy Fan Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Apothecary Accents Framelits, 1-1/4″ Scallop Circle Punch*, 3/16″ Metallic Brad (Gold), Stampin’ Dimensionals
This was my first attempt at a window card with an overlay image — my first and so far only! What you see is what I created on the first try. The tension was high in the studio as I worked out the engineering aspects.
For example, there’s not much room to work with in the frame. In hindsight, I should have used a wider frame so I had some room for error.
Also, you have to be so very careful not to get adhesive of any kind on the window sheet — it will not come off. Absolutely do not try to use the Adhesive Remover; it just makes everything worse. I tried to use rubbing alcohol on a cotton swap to get a tiny bit of Multipurpose Liquid Glue. If you see the card IRL, you’ll still see a smear. Anyway, you’ve been warned!
Someone asked about the shading seen in the picture. Sorry, but that is indeed a shadow, not some clever sponging on my part!
