It’s really, really easy and worth trying this technique. Here’s what I did on yesterday’s card:
- Rubbed the Window Sheet with an Embossing Buddy (note that this is not the heavier Window Sheet Stampin’ Up! used to carry, just the Medium weight)
- Stamped image with VersaMark ink (my “stamp” was the embossing folder)
- Applied embossing powder and tap off extra
- Heated until melted
We used the higher heat on the new Heat Tool. When I tried this at home with the lower heat, it took forever! I think as long as you’re not holding the heat tool at one area for more than a few seconds, the plastic shouldn’t melt.
Come back tomorrow and I’ll show you the inspiration for my card.
