Tuesday Tip: Heat embossing on Window Sheets

It’s really, really easy and worth trying this technique.  Here’s what I did on yesterday’s card:

  1. Rubbed the Window Sheet with an Embossing Buddy (note that this is not the heavier Window Sheet Stampin’ Up! used to carry, just the Medium weight)
  2. Stamped image with VersaMark ink (my “stamp” was the embossing folder)
  3. Applied embossing powder and tap off extra
  4. Heated until melted

We used the higher heat on the new Heat Tool.  When I tried this at home with the lower heat, it took forever!  I think as long as you’re not holding the heat tool at one area for more than a few seconds, the plastic shouldn’t melt.

Come back tomorrow and I’ll show you the inspiration for my card.
