Crumpled leaf

Debra Burgin 1208 Crumpled LeafIt’s not easy to take a stamped image like this leaf and crush it into a little ball — all in the name of texture!  But that’s what I’m asking my stamp campers to do this month on this card.  A card created during one of the stamping demonstrations on the main stage at Stampin’ Up! Convention inspired my version.

But what really caught my attention was how the stamper heat embossed on a window sheet!  Wait — isn’t that impossible?  Well, just try it for yourself!  It’s every bit as impressive IRL as it was on stage, and made even more so because the window sheet is first embossed with the new Woodgrain folder.  (If you love fall, that must be on your wish list!)
