Debra Bugin 1207 Emboss Resist BloomsIt’s totally coincidental that we’re doing two cards at camp this month that have the focal point tilted to the left.  Honestly, I don’t know how that happened!  I do know that when I saw a card by Jill Hilliard, right away I saw potential for this month’s technique:  Emboss Resist.  A few modifications later, here it is.

Thanks again to stampers Jill and Bev for suggesting the idea of (what I call) a Technique Ring.  Here’s what the card for July looks like:

Other:  Big Shot, Fancy Fan Embossing Folder, Heat Tool and Stampin’ Emboss Powder (White), Stampin’ Sponge, Sponge Dauber, 1¼” and 1⅜” Circle Punches, 3/8″ Stitched Satin Ribbon (Primrose Petals), Stampin’ Dimensionals
