I spent a pleasant day yesterday in the studio, mostly, finishing my Convention swaps. At least I think they’re finished. I have other activities on the calendar the next few days, so I think I’ll call this “good enough.”
I didn’t venture too far because I have this silly-looking head wrap holding the bandage over my surgery wound on the top of my scalp, or what feels more like the corner of my head, if you can imagine where that is. I’m happy to report that I am once again free of skin cancer — maybe just till next summer and my annual full body check (and you should cringe at that, yes, you should). I could get along without the entire experience for a while.
Anyway, I forced a hat over the bandages, but it wasn’t a good look, and when I tried on some tops I had to take the hat off, of course, which didn’t improve the view in the mirror. I found something new for Awards Night next Friday, when I’ll walk the stage again for my annual sales. I hope I can get someone to take a picture so my stampin’ friends can all see what you did for me! I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
You’re waiting for the peek, aren’t you? I don’t want to spoil the swap, so I’ll just tell you that it involves a pair of skates, Dazzling Details, and vellum cut with a new snowflake die. Something like this:
