Yesterday was a big picnic event celebrating the 60th anniversary of DH’s sister and her husband. In my floral frenzy a month ago, I had stamped several panels with the three flowers from Everything Eleanor. This was the last panel to be made into a card, and it was just what I needed for the anniversary card.
My SIL hates yellow, so there’s not the slightest bit of it here. Instead, I concentrated on beautiful Midnight Muse and Baja Breeze, a color I seem to have to restock fairly regularly. I love to do “pretty” cards, even though it’s not the way I dress or decorate. I love it in small doses, I guess!
The sentiment panel, from the new Layered Labels set, was die cut with one of the new Apothecary Accents Framelits. (All this coordination makes me positively giddy — and I can only say that in a few weeks you’re going to be further blown away!) But if you’re looking for the die that cut the mat, well, you won’t find it. Instead, I’ll share with you tomorrow a tip for creating this. See you then!
