Roses and blessings

Debra Burgin Roses and blessingsLast week I got a copy of Eating Well in the mail, a surprise gift subscription from my daughter-in-law.  I was so touched!  I am so fortunate to have her in our family; I appreciate her friendship so much.  So I thought I’d send this to let her know.

I got a new camera a few weeks ago and I’m still working on capturing the correct colors.  I think this card is prettier IRL.  In fact, I was so happy with the way this card turned out, we may do it in camp in July.  It’s all about “Bloomin’ Delights”!  This stamp set is just what I wanted; I love two-step stamping, especially using the Stamp-a-ma-jig.  Not sure how to use it?  Check out the the bottom of page 37 of the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog.  It’s a great mini tutorial!

Stamps:  Stipple Blossoms (p. 78), Blessings from Heaven (p. 136), Netting (p. 127)

Ink/Color:  Crumb Cake, Soft Suede

Paper:  Soft Suede, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake

Other:  Big Shot, Two Tags Bigz Die, Designer Frames Folder, Labels Collection Framelit, 3/8″ Taffeta Ribbon (Crumb Cake), Antique Brad, Stampin’ Dimensionals

Perfect blend of elements on this one. I never would have thought to combine the netting stamp with florals. The result is so elegant!

I’d love to see this IRL. I’ll bet those flowers are stunning.
