A little matchbook

Debra Burgin 2012 Hostess #2I shared a video last week about Stampin’ Up!’s new ink pad design — the firm foam pad.  This is a perfect example of how the coverage is just amazing, with no extra effort.  Even this stamp, with lots of rubber, gave a solid impression with just a few taps on the pad!  No conditioning of the rubber, no fancy wrist movements.

This little sticky note holder, a design from last month’s demonstrator magazine, was one of the projects at my Hostess Appreciation event.  I really wanted to show off this beautiful new ribbon in the 2012-2014 In Colors.  It is a must-have on your wish list!

Subscribers to my monthly newsletter received a written tutorial for this project with the June edition.  Are you a subscriber?  If not, click HERE.

Stamps:  Betsy’s Blossoms (p. 72), Tiny Tags (thank you, SpitWad for the correction!)

Ink/Color:  Raspberry Ripple, Gumball Green, Basic Black

Paper:  Shimmery White

Other:  3/8″ Stitched Satin Ribbon (Gumball Green), Jewelry Tag Punch, Glue Dot, Sticky Strip, stapler, sticky note pad

Super cute! I just may have to make some of these gems but of course, now I MUST have the Gumball Green ribbon and I only bought the Summer Starfruit and the Raspberry Ripple to start off.
