Baby wipe butterflies

Debra Burgin 1205 CH Baby wipe butterfliesThis is one of the cards we made last week at the Colonial House camp.  I took advantage of the timing to use the retiring Butterfly Punch for the last time (in camp, anyway!) and one my favorite floral sets, also retiring, Flower Fest.  Oh, sure, I’ve got plenty of flower stamps, but this set coordinates with many punches and is perfect for lots of techniques.

Here, I used the Baby Wipe technique.  If you’re a subscriber to my newsletter, you’ll be getting this written tutorial with the June newsletter.  It’s very fun and has an element of unpredictability that appeals to me.  I think it lightens up the tone of this card a little.  I seem to have several friends who have serious health issues in their families.  I put them on our church’s prayer care list.  Even though I don’t share the details of the situations, God knows and hears our heartfelt requests for strength and peace.
